Happy Valentines

Happy Valentines day everyone. I am beginning to wonder if I'll only make a new post if there has been a holiday.

My LJ has been talking about Edible Arrangements for sometime now and he's finally gotten one, that he was willing to share.

We weren't able to take time off during the boy's Spring Break so we took our favorite Florida vacation a little early this year. Here are some highlights from the pool. While we were there, Good Morning America visited the same manatee park that we did. Since it was unseasonably cool, the manatee's migrate to a warm inlet in the park. Hopefully you'll see them all floating around. They are really like huge slugs that float to the top to stick their noses out of the water to get air and sink back down again.

Look at the air he's catching...... :-) Ciao

Precious Moments

Here are a few of the quiet times we had in Florida. (That happens when you have too much sun :-)

Pirates of the Gulf

We spent Spring Break in Fort Myers and we saw Pirates on the open seas. Here is some proof.

A bunch of ugly mugs if I ever saw any.
I bet he'd steal my wiskey or gold if I had any.
Is that Johnny Deep and Kiera Knightly on the left?

Looks like someone is happy.

Last but not least, here we are with our Pirate host. In retrospect I shouldn't have had my guys dressed in bright orange it's not too pirate-y.

Our Trip to "George Washington"

It's really too cute to correct them when they say it. I know I could be making their adult life difficult by not correcting them, but they'll live through it.

Here is our latest family pictures. After taking 20 shots...well Mom's know, it's hard to get everyone to look at the camera and keep their hands down.

Back to Washington.

The boys favorite photo is from the Smithsonian. Don't I have just the most educated and intelecual children around? Oh I guess not, it was from The Museum of American History, the Star Wars display.
Then here we are....how romantic......

Vacation at the Lake

We have some great friends with wonderful parents and they have invited us back to the lake again this year. The lake I am talking about is Table Rock Lake and it's a little piece of heaven. It's a much larger lake than the one I used to go to as a teenager, and totally better!
I have spend the good part of 20 minutes looking for an mp3 of the Go-Go's Vacation (Steve wanted us to sing that as he performed his sking act for us :-)

Anyway, I could by it from iTunes, but I can't play that format on this blog. Here are a few pictures of us on Big Bertha.

All the kids went tubing today and the big ones even skied. Reese is a great skier and JP, on his first time got nearly up. He was so happy! I'm missing a few pictures and will have to come back later to update..... Before our weekend is out we need to create and preform our anual water-ballet and eat our Petero's and Frog-Eyed Salad. Yum-e!

But look at these two pictures...this is so them.

Hello from South West Florida

Tell me, when you are excited do you slam your brother's hand in the door or throw a ball in his face? Do you take his toys and hide them or throw them down the stairs like he's a dog wanting to play fetch? That is what our house has been like the past few days, it's a good thing we've finally arrived.

And they said it was going to rain

It wasn't exactly the warmest day, but we could still dig on the beach. Reports said there could be waves as high as 40 feet, but we didn't see that. If you think we look uncomfortable in the wind, you should have seen the seagulls, they had trouble flying, it was more like they hovered in place.

Here are some more pictures.

JP's shirt says it all!
